In the penultimate week of Term 3, we have been looking at culture and traditions from other countries around the world during International Week.
Swift class have had the opportunity to make paper lanterns for Chinese New Year and artwork inspired by symbols of Wales and aboriginal culture. Come and see our fantastic creations on display in our classroom!
We also had the opportunity to try our hand at pétanque, a popular sport from France which is now played across the world. We talked about tactics and made sure that we used the correct vocabulary en français (boule, cochonnet, tirer and pointer to name a few!) We were unlucky with the grey and blustery February weather but we really enjoyed trying something new. Take a look at our photos below.
