Sidney Squirrel's Star of the Week!
Usually Sidney the Squirrel, our class mascot would be going home with a child every week for an adventure. However due to Covid restrictions, this isn't possible just yet. For the time being, Sidney will choose a star of the week, sit at their desk for the day each Friday and have his photo taken with them.
Children: Sidney will be looking out for kind hearted children who try their best with their learning even when it is a little tricky (remember, we try not to give up)!
Week 1: This week Sidney chose William as his star of the week as he completed some fabulous home learning tasks. Well done William!
Week 2: This week Sidney chose Kirsten as his star of the week for her fabulous handwriting. Well done Kirsten!
Week 3: Emilia is our star of the week for always working so hard and being kind to others! Well done Emilia!
Week 4: Maisie Wallis - For always working so independently and trying so hard – Well Done!
Week 5: 'Sidney's Squirrel of the Week' award goes to Thomas this week for fabulous independent writing and for always trying so hard! Well done Thomas!
Sidney's star of the week for the end of term is Harley Harper for trying so hard to work independently! Well done Harley!
Term 2: Week 1: This week Sidney chose Gilbert as his star of the week for always trying so hard to work independently. You are a star Gilbert!

Week 3: This week Sidney's award goes to Georgie for developing great resilience and for fabulous home learning activities – well done Georgie!
Week 4: Sidney's special award goes to Albert this week for trying so hard with all of his learning. Well done Albert - we are so proud of you!
Week 5: Sidney's special award goes to Fraser this week for super perseverance this week and particularly good writing. Well done Fraser. This week, there was a Christmas theme as he was able to wear the special 'elf' suit!
