Mrs Coxall Teaches Using Similes to Respond to 'The Reader of this Poem'

Still image for this video

This is a game that children can play with a sibling/ parent or even by themselves.

Cut out the cards to play.

Half of the cards have co-ordinating conjunctions on and the other half have sentences which are missing a co-ordinating conjunctions.

The idea is that a player turns over two cards at a time and if they find a matching pair they keep them and take another turn. The player with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner!
