Time Capsule - 2020 - Easter Activity

Many of you may have seen the Queen's speech last night. She rarely makes national addresses other than at Christmas and when a new parliament is installed but she concluded  this speech with "we will succeed".

She also spoke of the time in 1940 when she made a broadcast with her sister, Princess Margaret and said that "I hope in the years to come everyone will be able to take pride in how they responded to this challenge". She also mentioned "the rainbows drawn by children as its symbol".

These challenging times will be remembered by future generations. Therefore, perhaps with your families, you can investigate what a time capsule is and create one as a piece of history to be shared in the future.

Below is a link which will provide you with some resources in order to help you. Remember to send us pictures of your time capsules.

What will go in your time capsule?

Take care.
