Term 1
Fundamental Movement
In this unit, we will be working on developing your child's fundamental skills. We will be working on being able to run, skip and hop with confidence and skill, as well as changing direction and balancing. We will also be focusing on understanding and being safe in space, being aware of others and objects in their surroundings.
Yoga
Children will be learning mindfulness and body awareness. They will begin to learn poses that connect their body and their mind. The unit focuses on developing strength, co-ordination and balance.
