Please note that KCC have approved a slight change to the current CH&CO dessert menu - week 2 - TUESDAY MILK JELLY replaces fruit jelly with cream. Week 3 - WEDNESDAY FRUIT WITH CUSTARD replaces fruit jelly with cream. Any queries please contact the kitchen or main office.

Please see below for the current lunch menus. The menus work on a 3 week rota system. If your child has any special dietary requirements, please speak to the school office.

Our cooked school meals are provided by CH & Co and cost £2.43 per day.
CH & Co, our school meals contractor, works on a ‘NO DEBT’ policy. This means that you must pay for your dinners on the day, or in advance of your child receiving a dinner. CH & Co DO NOT accept payments by cheque or cash. Please click on the sQuid Logo to access their payment portal.

PACKED LUNCHES / SNACKS
If you choose to send your child in to school with a packed lunch, we would ask that you ensure that they contain healthy choices. Please do not send sweets, chocolate bars, crisps or sugary drinks (water is best), and keep packaging that can’t be recycled to a minimum.
Please also ensure that break time snacks are healthy items such as fruit or vegetable sticks. As we have children in school with severe nut allergies please do not send your child to school with any nuts or food items containing nuts. Are you Eligible for Free School Meals?
If you have children under 19 and in full-time education, you may be able to get free school meals for them.
To be eligible for free school meals the pupil must be attending a state-maintained school or receiving alternative education approved by Kent County Council and the pupil’s family must be in receipt of one of the following benefits.
Please provide the relevant proof of identity, as detailed below.:
•Income Support
•Income Based Jobseekers Allowance
•Child Tax Credit (not including Working Tax Credit) – If the household income is below £16,190.
•Guaranteed Element of State Pension Credit
•Asylum Seekers – Proof of support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999.
•An Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
We do accept bank or building society statements as they show which benefit is being received.

The Advantages
How will this work?
Parents will have the opportunity to complete an eligibility assessment themselves to establish whether they are entitled to Free School Meals. If eligible they can complete an application for Free School Meals via http://www.kent.gov.uk/education-and-children/schools/free-school-meals
Schools will be notified of any successful applications straight away via email, so that a Free School Meal can be provided the same day.
