MUSIC AT LADY JOANNA THORNHILL

At Lady Joanna Thornhill we wish to instill a love of music in our pupils.   All of our Year 4 and Year 5 pupils have weekly lessons during term time.  Currently Year 4 are learning Guitar and Ukelele and our Year 5 pupils are continuing with Guitar.   We are also very lucky to have a fantastic Music teacher, Mr Connolly, who is currently working with Year 3 and Year 6, teaching a variety of different music lessons, from singing to different styles of percussion instruments. 

Going forward, we hope to start our own school orchestra, and we also take part in  Young Voices at The O2 each year, most recently in January 2024. (www.youngvoices.co.uk)
