Welcome to the Friends' Association
The Friends’ of Lady Joanna Thornhill (Endowed) Primary School is a registered charity (no 298123), with its primary aim being to raise funds to provide additional equipment and activities solely for the benefit of the pupils of the school.
But it’s not just about fundraising, it is also about building a sense of school community between parents/carers, pupils and staff as well as providing our children with some well-deserved social and fun times.
As a Friends Association we are not only open to school families and teachers but to the wider school community – grandparents and past families are welcome to join as well! New members will have the support of a strong experienced committee that is already in place and can guide them through the school year. We look to our members to help co-ordinate events and activities, liaise with the school, and attend termly meetings. What is needed is some support and a bit of time.
