Year 4

Term 1

 

Dance  - Dance is taught by Mrs Selwood. Children will be exploring dance this term through their topic theme of The Romans. Children will be translating key words into actions and combining movement together to create sequences. Children will also be exploring how to use different pathways and levels to enrich their sequences. 

 

Hockey - Children will be learning this invasion game, developing their understanding of attacking and defending. Children will learn about possession as well as moving the ball towards the goal to score. Children will be taught key rules and to abide by these to ensure fair play.
