Dance - Dance is taught by Mrs Selwood. Dances will be based around topics that are studied in other subjects, to build some cross curricular links. Specific actions will be taught and children will have the opportunity to consider how to sequence these using dynamics, space and relationships.
Football - Football is an invasion game. Children are taught about attacking and defending, and the skills needed to do this. Children will consider strategy and tactics to outwit their opposition. Maintaining possession and moving the ball towards the goal are taught. As well as the skills needed, the idea of fair play, honesty and teamwork are developed.
