Author Champions
After the success of Lucy Strange and Katherine Turner visiting Year 5 & 6 and Year 1 & 2 respectively when we celebrated World Book Day, both authors have agreed to be our Author Champions!
Lucy will champion Year 4, 5 and 6, while Katherine will be the champion for Year 1, 2 and 3. Lucy and Katherine will come in during the year to see their respective year groups as well as setting challenges to the year groups or supporting them with some work. They will link to their own books that they have had published.
What an amazing opportunity - we can't wait to work with Lucy and Katherine.

When Lucy Strange visited Year 4 by Ujin
On Monday, the 25th April a famous author called Lucy Strange came to our school to tell us about her books. Lucy Strange has written many books such as, The Secret of Nightingale Wood, Our Castle by the Sea, The Sisters of the Lost Marsh and The Mermaid in the Millpond. All these great books have an amazing story filled with lots off different emotions. She also told us about her life as an author and her childhood.
